The service was started in 2009 by Seth Affoumado. We restore cast iron skillets, dutch ovens, gem pans and more! Over 5,000 pieces and counting! There are many methods to re-seasoning cast iron cookware. We currently use our own "Skillet Doc's Seasoning Salve" revitalizing formula for re-seasoning black cast iron and carbon steel skillets. Made from locally sourced Petaluma Beeswax, Grape seed and Sunflower oils, it's the best protection your cast iron can have against wear and rust!
