    No Soap

    Warm Water

    After meals, use warm water and a wooden spoon or skillet doctor bamboo brush. we recommend our SCRUB salt and soda cleaner with a little specail sauuce, you can purchase the on our shop . Never use metal utensils to scrape the cooking surface!

    Rinse & Heat

    Rinse and dry the skillet with a paper towel. Return to the stovetop and heat for 45-60 seconds.

    Season With Skillet Doctor Seasoning Salve

    Make sure your skillet is dry and warm to the touch! Be careful and apply a light coat of Skillet Doctor Seasoning Salve or high smoke point oil with a clean cotton bandana to the entire skillet, cooking surface, handle, and exterior—then wipe off. Store your cast iron skillet in a cool, dry place. 

    We recommend using Skillet Doctor Seasoning Salve to coat your skillets after every wash & dry. Our special formula of locally sourced Petaluma beeswax, Napa Valley cold pressed grape seed oil, and sunflower oils is the perfect way to keep all your cast iron, carbon steel, and wooden utensils in tip-top shape!
